The balance of the purpose built manufacturing facility and the fully automated process powers the large capacity and precision production. Wallandra can erect up to 3,500m2 (>40 tonnes) a day on large warehouses, whilst concurrently erecting smaller factories and sheds for their other valued clients.

The fabrication control system is fully integrated with Tekla 3D modelling, and allows the complete and transparent control of a paperless steel processing and fabrication facility. Precise production and fabrication information is transferred directly from the approved building model to the processing lines and to touch screen displays in each fabrication bay. This ensures error free outcomes and complete transparency and control.
Wallandra can provide each client with up to the minute progress reports on each member or on each phase for each project.

Detail from the Outset
The first step to precise production is the accuracy of the workshop drawings. The in-house detailing team create the 3D model and all the workshop drawings. These are sent electronically to production, no paper to lose or misinterpret. No intervention or manual entry.
If there is a question, with direct interface between the production team and the detailer, the solution is addressed promptly. This saves time and ensures the project STAYS on track.
Production Control and Capacity
Building their own state of the art facility allowed Wallandra the flexibility to include the functionality they required. To limit reliance on other suppliers Wallandra recognised the importance of control and in-house ownership.
Wallandra has in-house facilities for steel processing lines, welding/fabrication, in-line blasting, and painting. This, combined with the online accuracy of the Fabsuite and CNC processing, means their production is precise and capacity has extraordinary room to move.
Logistics and Erection Team
Wallandra supplies the cranes and riggers; clearly communicating the daily plan to keep in line with the customer’s timetable. Erection techniques are streamlined and well-practiced allowing erection of up to 40 tonne a day on larger projects.
Delivery is made using Wallandra’s transport fleet and arrives with every element marked by phase and sequence ready for erection.
