Stage 2 of the Mileham Street construction project is now complete, with Wallandra supplying and erecting over 22 tonnes of structural steel for the development of 12 industrial units. The final phase of of the Windsor based project is now underway and once complete, will comprise of 31 units in total.
Wallandra was commissioned to provide a complete Design and Construct (D&C) Building Solution for the development of this hay shed, situated in Orton Park, NSW. This included the submission of paperwork for the Development Application (DA) and Construction Certificate (CC), structural engineering, supply and erection of structural steel, roofing, cladding and project management.
The hay shed has been designed and constructed to provide the best possible storage solution for hay dry matter retention following harvest. The incorporation of gutters, sufficient drainage and 3 walls provides maximum protection from the rain and pooling water. The 8m wide bays also allow for multi-purpose usage; providing the ability for our client to store machinery and other equipment when the shed is not being used for hay storage.
Inspired by the grandeur of English country garden estates, Mayfield Gardens is one of the world’s largest privately owned cool climate gardens. The exquisite garden extends across more than 160 acres and sits within a 5,000 acre working farm.
To support plans to expand the garden by an additional 36 acres within the year, Wallandra supplied and installed an open fronted storage shed with an enclosed workshop and a 6m skillion.
Home to Motorsports Training Australia (MTA), the Wodonga TAFE’s Logic Campus provides facilities through which the MTA deliver training to students interested in gaining motorsport and automotive technology qualifications.
Wallandra supplied and assembled over 15 tonnes of structural steel for the MTA workshop and carport, along with the concrete slab design and certification and supply and erection of the workshop windows.
These facilities provide students with the ability to work on race car preparation, fabrication and composites production.
Moxey Dairy Farm’s large scale operation required quality steel buildings for their new dairy expansion. Wallandra successfully delivered this project requiring the design and construction of new steel buildings totalling 20000 square metres, built over multiple stages, for more than 12 months.
Wallandra’s scope included footings, structural steel and roofing, along with the creation and delivery of a purpose built engineering solution to meet this progressive agriculturalist’s exacting requirements.
The development of additional dairy infrastructure is currently underway. We look forward to sharing more information and imagery as these projects are completed.
